Symbiotic at the Italian Ministry to discuss plans for AI development
We were invited to the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy in Rome to discuss Symbiotic's plans and the Italian Government's initiatives for AI development. During the meeting, our CEO Riccardo Di Molfetta presented Symbiotic's vision and roadmap. He outlined our future plans to establish an operational hub in Europe, which will serve as a catalyst for expanding our presence in the continent.
Riccardo discussed the potential application of AI in various institutional sectors, including education, the arts, and research. A key point of discussion was also the imperative to create a thriving ecosystem for AI startups in Italy and across Europe, aimed at narrowing the innovation gap with the United States.
The Ministry officials expressed keen interest in AI's potential and a strong willingness to collaborate with Symbiotic in the future. They shared their vision for promoting AI adoption and development, with a particular focus on extending these benefits to regions with limited access to advanced technologies, such as parts of Africa and other developing nations. The discussion also covered several ambitious projects currently in development by the Italian Government and the European Union, aimed at advancing AI research, training, and practical applications across key economic sectors.
"I am deeply grateful for the time Ambassador Cospito and Dr. Del Monaco have given us today. Their enthusiasm for what we are doing at Symbiotic was inspiring, and I appreciate their openness in sharing insights into the Ministry's ongoing projects. This kind of collaborative dialogue is exactly what we need to drive AI innovation forward in Europe," said Riccardo. A special acknowledgment was also extended to Dr. Tobia Morandi for his instrumental role in facilitating these meetings.
