Symbiotic partners with Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure to pioneer new foundational AI approaches

Jul 24, 2024

We are partnering with Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure through their respective startup programs. This collaboration is aimed to support us in our next phases of technical development by equipping our team with secure and scalable cloud technology, significant compute credits, as well as technical and business support.

Further, we've also been accepted into the NVIDIA Inception program, which is also designed to accelerate AI-first startups by offering compute credits and expert mentorship opportunities. This addition complements our acceptance into the Google and Microsoft programs, supercharging our efforts in developing next-generation foundation models.

These partnerships are set to propel us forward in our goal to develop beneficial superintelligence, providing crucial resources and expertise to support our work.

Key Benefits of Program Participation
1. Cloud Infrastructure

Our participation in these programs grants access to state-of-the-art cloud environments optimized for AI workloads. This infrastructure offers the scalability, reliability, and performance necessary to support our R&D objectives.

2. Computational Resources

These programs provide substantial computational power, including advanced GPUs and specialized AI hardware. This boost in resources will significantly accelerate our research and development efforts, enabling us to experiment and iterate faster on our models.

3. Industry-Leading Expertise

Both partnerships grant us extensive access to a wealth of expertise and ecosystems within Google and Microsoft. We'll benefit from 1:1 guidance on technical and business strategy, while also tapping into extensive networks of partners and service providers. This ecosystem access opens doors to additional resources, potential collaborations, and innovative solutions that will accelerate our growth.

Commenting on these partnerships, our CTO Kevin Nejad has remarked how “access to cloud infrastructure and resources is crucial for our R&D efforts, enabling us to run more experiments and test novel approaches at scale. Yet, this is clearly just the beginning of our roadmap toward developing next-generation models, which in turn will serve as the launchpad for our product vision.”
